About Me

With two years of professional experience as a software developer, I'm currently shifting into cybersecurity and pursuing CompTIA certifications. My objective is to make digital privacy more accessible by contributing to open-source security tools and encrypted communication platforms.

My other areas of interest include data science, GIS, and environmental/climate science. I'm passionate about environmental justice, and my work is informed by a commitment to leveraging technology for the common good.

Outside of work I enjoy learning languages. I've been learning Japanese for as long as I can remember, and began studying Spanish and Ladino in college. My goal is to become fluent in both Japanese and Spanish, and eventually move abroad. I hope to gain a global perspective which will inform my cybersecurity work.
